Yoda und ich
Sitting with the boys this evening watching the Star Wars, Episode III – Revenge of the Sith DVD that I picked up on the way home, I decided to do a Flickr tag search for “Yoda”. I came across this picture that I thought was pretty damn funny.

I was driving on Roosevelt and had to turn around and pull over. This is a once in a lifetime view! There were other cars pulling over for the same reason, did I see any of you?
I found this picture while browsing around using the ‘Explore’ feature on Flickr. I thought it looked really cool.
Remember this posting from September of last year comparing pictures of Kelsi from then to now? Spending some time going through pictures this morning I was amazed by how the boys have grown over the past few years. Here’s another comparison.
This picture was taken about 2 or 3 years ago. Every once in a while, Jonna will take a picture of the three of us together.
This was taken this month in Orlando. Boy, does time fly. Once again, I’m dressed almost exactly the same.

Nalla sent me a link to TechCrunch » First Screen Shots of Riya, an article about a new photo service with built in photo recognition. This looks pretty cool, aside from the stated 4 hour upload time per gigabyte of data.

Tom the Architect apparently had some time on his hands and took one of my arial photos of Phoenix from my last trip and found the location in Google Maps. To see it, just click the photo above and go to the note attached.
I was finally able to integrate the photo album on Flickr into the actual site, thanks to the FAlbum WordPress Plugin released at version .5 by Elijah Cornell. Once again, no brainer to install. All I had to do was modify the falbum-wp.php file to close the extra divs in my theme.
The plugin supports permalinks, tags, and all of the goodies you would expect from a Flickr based photo album.

We also found this. We like the old Wizard of Oz stuff. If anyone knows where to get a set of fake ruby slippers, let us know.
Here’s our big “score” from yesterdays flea market trip with Jonna’s family. This is a poster made of tin. This was actually our first trip to a flea market and I rather enjoyed it. It was fun to see some of the stuff that they have on sale there and amazing to see the things that people actually keep.
We got pictures of some of the stuff that I have posted to the photo album.
