Apparently there was a power outage in L.A. that took the site down yesterday. You can get details on the effects it had on my provider in the DreamHost blog at DreamHost Blog – Power Outage Update.

The outage was apparently caused by workers accidentally slicing several power lines.

Whatever the cause, the folks at DreamHost, after an apparently very long night, now have everything back up.
